Good news! Christin Burd has been selected to receive a 2014 OSU CEOS (Comprehensive Equity at Ohio State) CONNECT award. This award will provide funds for Christin to invite Dr. Richard Marais, Director of the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute and a leader in the melanoma field, to present a research seminar at OSU and for Christin to visit Marais' lab in Manchester Institute, UK. The CONNECT award was established to increase the representation and advancement of women in STEM careers by providing funds for junior faculty to interact with scientific leaders.
