On June 24th, Franklin Park Conservatory hosted Pollinator Palooza in conjunction with National Pollinator Week, and Molecular Genetics was there. Led by Anna Dobritsa, postdoc Yuan Zhou, research associate Sarah Reeder, undergraduates Radhika Abeywickrama, Laurel Fleszar and Crystal Finzer, and REU student Marco Keller helped visitors examine pollen, isolate strawberry DNA, and do Punnett square genetics. They all had a lot of fun!
