"In a Hotter House"

In an age of rapidly changing climate, the greenhouse is not the only hothouse of our own making. The artists in this exhibition are united by one questions, what solutions to our warming climate may we learn by paying attention to plants and their symbiotic relationships?

Join the artists, the students, and the instructors (Iris Meier, Amy Youngs, Norman Groves, Lily Schumacher, Doo-sung Yoo) and students of ART 5101 - Aspects of Art and Technology II for the opening of the installation

Tuesday, April 22 8:00-10:00 pm in the Biological Sciences Greenhouse (on the roof of the parking garage at 332 West 12th Avenue.

You can also join the Lichen Lichers at 7:00pm for a participatory pre-show performance "Fungal Entanglement: a Lichen Journey" beginning on the front porch of Hopkins Hall and including a meandering walk that ends at the greenhouse exhibition.
