On May 10^th and May 17^th, we hosted Barrington Elementary School and Cranbrook Elementary School 4^th and 5^th graders for BioEYES Festivals. We bring students who participated in the BioEYES program at their schools in Fall 2022 to OSU to tour the fish facility, compare fly and fish embryos under the microscope, make DNA models, decode DNA messages, and do Punnett square genetics. We all had a lot of fun! We appreciate all the MolGen/MCDB community volunteers who participated in one or more of the 3 Festivals: undergraduate students Jahnavi Tadiboina, Charles Franz, Laurel Fleszar, and Kristen Nedza, graduate students Clare Austin, Delia Calderon, Anna Lubertozzi, Isabella Mendes, Priscila Rodriguez Garcia, Manu Sanjeev, and Nathen Zavada, postdoc Rene Arvola, and faculty and staff members Uyen Tram, Tom Gallagher, Nikki Coleman-Gosser, Amrit Singh, and Sharon Amacher.
