Congratulations to Dr. Sharon Amacher who was recently elected as the Midwest representative to the Society for Developmental Biology (SDB) Board of Directors.

SDB furthers the study of developmental biology and related disciplines, supporting the career and professional development of investigators at all levels. The society also plays a major role in the organization and support of relevant scientific meetings, workshops, and courses, and in the education of educators, the general public and policy makers about the importance of developmental biology and related disciplines.

Sharon's term will begin immediately after the SDB 82nd Annual Meeting in Chicago, IL in July.
