Did you know there’s a lush oasis at Ohio State University on 12th Avenue? The Biological Sciences Greenhouse on the roof of the 12th Avenue Garage contains hundreds of plants used for research and education. And it’s open to the public!

The greenhouse was recently the subject of a College of Arts and Sciences ASCENT story "If these Plants Could Talk" highlighting just a few of the hundreds of plant species on display, and discussing their uses in classes across the College.

In May, the Greenhouse completed their annual Mother's Day plant sale (mark your calendar for next year if you missed this one!) and followed up by donating the remaining vegetable plants to the to the Buckeye Wellness group.
