Congratulations to Dave Bisaro who learned that his NSF grant "Viral Chromatin Methylation as a Host Defense Against Geminiviruses" will be renewed for three years!

Congratulations, again to Dave Bisaro, and to Debbie Parris whose collaborative work that crosses the mammalian and plant  kingdoms has resulted in a new publication "Characterization of the RNA silencing suppression activity of the Ebola virus VP35 protein in plants and mammalian cells". The work was just published in J. Virology and has been reviewed by the Faculty 1000; MG students, Jamie Jackel and Monica Crary, are co-authors of this publication.
