We are delighted to announce that Dr. Guramrit Singh has been promoted to the position of Associate Professor with tenure. Dr. Singh's laboratory studies the post-transcriptional fate of mRNAs, with a focus on the role of the exon junction complex in gene regulation and development. His outstanding research has been funded by grants from the NIH and other sources, and he is viewed as a leader in RNA biology both at OSU and nationally. He has also been noted for his outstanding teaching and his mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students. Congratulations Amrit!
