Congratulations to Jay Hollick who was recently named incoming Chair of the Board of Directors of the Maize Genetics Cooperation Stock Center. The Stock center serves the maize research community serving as the he main repository for maize mutants utilized in research and development worldwide. The Center collects, maintains and distributes seeds, providing an essential resource to scientists conducting basic and applied biological research using maize. We commned Jay for taking on this important role in the maize community!
