Falk Medical Research Trust grant to Christin Burd

Christin Burd

Congratulations to Christin Burd, who was recently awarded a grant from the Dr. Ralph and Marian Falk Research Trust Catalyst program. Entitled "Repurposing precision medicine to prevent melanoma onset and recurrence", this project aims to develop a non-invasive, topical therapy to prevent the onset and recurrence of early-stage melanoma. Target populations for this therapy will include children with giant congenital moles, individuals with over 50 moles, and survivors of early-stage melanoma. Dr. Rachel Belote is also a co-PI on the grant.
