The new,  Molecular Genetics course called "Genes and Society" (MOLGEN/PHILOS 2690) was highlighted in ASCENT magazine by the College of Arts and Sciences as an example of how the college promotes interdisciplinary activities. This course, co-developed by Susan Cole in Molecular Genetics and Justin D'Arms in Philosophy will examine philosophical and ethical questions related to the science of genetics.
