Graduate student funding in 2022/23

Congratulations to the graduate students in Molecular Genetics labs who were supported via competitive funding in the 2022/23 academic year!

The following students had newly established or continuing support during 2022/23

  • Monica Blatnik (Amacher lab): Dean’s Distinguished Graduate Enrichment Fellowship (Dissertation Year)
  • Priscila Garcia Rodriguez (Paul Herman lab): NIH supplement on a grant to the Herman lab
  • Yu Hsun Huang (Cole lab): University Fellowship
  • Mowei Li (Hollick lab): Herta Camerer Gross Graduate Fellowship
  • Valentina Posada (Christin Burd lab): NIH supplement on a grant to the Burd lab
  • Elizabeth Regedanz (Bisaro lab): Herta Camerer Gross Graduate Fellowship
  • Ernesto Roldan Bonet (Hopper lab): Cellular, Molecular, and Biochemical Sciences Program
  • Nathen Zavada (Cole lab): University Fellowship

The following students have new support that will begin in August 2023

And two of our incoming first year students will have fellowship support as well:

  • Isabella Walter: University Fellowship

Did you know that in over the past 10 years over 60% of our graduate students have been supported by competitive fellowships for at least part of their time at OSU? We are so proud of their hard work and delighted for the recognition!
