Greetchen Diaz MCDB graduate student in the A.K. Hopper lab: Greetchen’s abstract for the 2102 American Society of Microbiology annual meeting was selected to receive an ASM Student Travel Award and the honor of Outstanding Student Poster. The Outstanding Student Poster category is dedicated to highlighting exceptional students for outstanding research efforts. Only 40 abstracts were selected across the four divisional groups for this honor. The $500 Travel Award will assist with costs to attend the asm2012 General Meeting in San Francisco, California June 16-19, 2012.
