Molecular Genetics alum Mitchell Ticoras wins NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Many congratulations to alumnus Mitchell Ticoras who was just awarded a prestigious Graduate Research Fellowship from the NSF. Mitchell graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2022 with a BS in Molecular Genetics and minors in History and Environmental Science, and with Honors Research Distinction in Molecular Genetics. After graduation he spent a year doing research at the University of Liege in Belgium, then applied to Ph.D. programs back in the U.S.

The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP) is a prestigious grant awarded annually by the NSF to support outstanding students who plan to pursue graduate research in the natural, social, and engineering sciences. We are so proud that Mitchell earned this well deserved award, and we can't wait to find out what he does next!
