Molecular Genetics students in Norway!

Molecular Genetics Students in Norway

We are all jealous of the students enrolled in Molecular Genetics 5797 "Introduction to Biomedical Laboratory Sciences" shown here hiking by the fjord in Trondheim shortly after their arrival in in Norway (May 2019).  Students enrolled in the class will spend a month at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) focusing on practical training in the analytical techniques and instrumentation relevant to medical laboratory technology. They will also examine the practical and ethical challenges associated with the use of whole genome sequencing in partnership with St. Olav’s hospital, which has pioneered the use of this technology in clinical diagnosis. Have fun!
