The whole department gathered on Monday, December 16^th. Surrounded by festive greetings like “Yeast on Earth”, “Worm Holiday Greetings”, and “Best Fishes for 2025”, we enjoyed great food and conversation while celebrating the end of semester. Poinsettias were raffled to several lucky winners and five folks, Clare Austin, Rachel Lew, Oliver Marchus, Anuttama Pal, and Valentina Posada, won prizes for their artistic and creative entries in the ornament decorating contest. It was a great way to end 2024 and welcome the new year!
