The Department had a great night at the 2026 Ohio State University Faculty Awards!

This year we had four faculty recognized:

Amanda Bird (joint appointment in Human Sciences) and Guramrit Sigh were both recognized with the Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching (the highest teaching recognition at OSU), Sharon Amacher was awarded one of the first ever Faculty to Faculty Mentoring awards, and Susan Cole was awarded the President and Provost's Award for Distinguished Faculty Service. 

We are delighted to see them all recognized for their excellence!
