Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

More BioEYES festivals on West Campus

BioEYES volunteers 2022

We hosted our final two BioEYES Festivals on May 2nd and May 18th for students from Barrington and Cranbrook Elementary schools. Fourth and fifth grade students visited the Ohio State Campus to follow up on their fall in-classroom BioEYES experience with additional hands-on science activities. With the help of OSU students, postdocs, and staff, they toured the fish facility, viewed live fluorescent zebrafish embryos and fruit fly larvae under a microscope, did Punnett square genetics, and learned how to decode DNA messages!

We are so proud of the Department and OSU community members who are generous with their time supporting this outreach program!
