Congratulations to Ruben Petreaca, who was recently awarded a new grant from the National Cancer Institute at the NIH entitled "TIP60-chromatin remodeling complex roles in chromosome break repair". Together with co-PI Renee Bouley (Chemistry and Biochemistry) Ruben will investigate the role of a chromosome remodeling super-complex in DNA damage repair and how mutations in this complex components produce re- arrangements that contribute to cancer progression.
