Congratulations to David Somers and Emma Knee who are co-PIs on a recently awarded $1 million, 5-year grant from the National Science Foundation providing ongoing support of the Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center (ABRC). The ABRC collection consists of over a million resources derived from Arabidopsis and closely related species developed by researchers in the US and around the world. The ABRC web site, accessed by approximately 2,000 users per week, provides both resource information and a platform for ordering. Close to 100,000 samples are shipped each year to researchers and educators in the US and 82 other countries. The ABRC is grateful to have received 30 years of continuous support from NSF, the College of Biological Sciences, and the Department of Molecular Genetics.
