Congratulations to Jian-Qiu Wu who recently was awarded a supplement to his NIH grant “Molecular Mechanisms of Cytokinesis” to partially fund the purchase of a new spinning disk confocal microscope. This system (Nikon W1 + SoRa system equipped with two cameras, seven lasers, photostimulation, laser ablation, TIRFM, and super resolution microscopy) will replace the aging shared confocal microscope in the Biological Sciences Building.
