Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

NIH funding to Paul Herman

Paul Herman

Congratulations to Paul Herman whose NIH grant entitled "An analysis of the regulation and functions of a novel family of membraneless organelles in eukaryotic cells" was recently renewed for an additional four years of funding. This proposal examines a potential link between a cytoplasmic ribonucleoprotein granule, known as the Processing-body, and the microtubule network of eukaryotic cells. The funded experiments will test whether the process of tubulin autoregulation occurs within these granules and may therefore provide valuable insight into this form of regulation.
