Congratulations to Dr. Geremy Lerma, former graduate student and now postdoctoral fellow in the Amacher lab, received fellowship funding from Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy to pursue his research using the zebrafish model to validate and characterize modulators of muscular dystrophy that were originally uncovered in human genome-wide association screens as potential disease modifiers.
