Priscila Rodriguez Garcia presents to K-12 students in Puerto Rico

Priscila Rodriguez Garcia

On March 14th, our own Priscila Rodriguez Garcia (PhD candidate in the Herman lab) gave a virtual talk to hundreds of middle and high school science students in Puerto Rico. She was invited by  "Cientificos Al Servicio en Linea" or "Scientists in Service of Puerto Rico Online" which is a platform that brings Spanish-speaking scientists to the classroom in a virtual setting, allowing them to connect with students regardless of their geographic location. Priscila gave a talk highlighting DNA and the laws of inheritance. These presentations are shared live with hundreds of attendees and are recorded and archived for future use. You can see Priscila’s talk on YouTube.

We are so proud of Priscila’s commitment to outreach and education!
