Congratulations to Rene who was named to the 2020 cohort of Presidential Postdoctoral Scholars. Rene is co-advisedn by Sharon Amacher and Guramrit Singh. Her project, entitled "Post-transcriptional RNA regulation during zebrafish development" will characterize the biological roles and molecular functions of Cancer Susceptibility Candidate 3 (Casc3), a component of the EJC that regulates a subset of NMD target mRNAs.
