Congratulations to Shujun Ou, who is the subject of a recent Instructor Spotlight by the ASC Office of Distance Education. In his interview, Shujun talks about his research into how DNA Transposable Elements respond to environmental changes.including temperature and other abiotic stresses with the goal of better understanding their role in shaping plant adaptation and evolution. This research focus resonates in his creation of the "Plant Genomics Anytime, Anywhere" program, and his other contributions to teaching and mentoring.
