Congratulations to the IGP Symposium Graduate Student Winners:

 

Mahesh Chemudapati, an OSBP graduate student in Steve Osmani's lab, was selected for an oral presentation and his presentation earned him 1 of the 3 awards for his session.

 

Stephane Gabilly, a MCDB graduate student in Patrice Hamel's lab, was selected for an oral presentation and his presentation earned him 1 of the 3 awards for his session.

 

There were 12 poster awards and four of the awardees are conducting their doctoral theses in MG labs. Congratulations to Hui-Yi Chu (MCDB, AK Hopper lab), Ivy Huang (MCDB, AK Hopper lab), Greetchen Diaz (MCDB, AK Hopper lab) and Nandini Shukla (OSBP, S. Osmani lab).

 

Dustin Williams won the second prize poster award at the Society for Developmental Biology Meeting held in Chicago.

 

The OSU Veterinary Biosciences department awarded MG students Amit Sharma 1st place for his seminar presentation and Arnaz Ranji 1st place for her publication in Journal of Biological Chemistry.
