Congratulations to Valnetina Posada, Ph.D. candidate in the Christin Burd lab who has been selected to be part of a trainee exchange program between the OSU CCC and the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah through the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center CAMELOT (Center for Cancer Mentoring, Education, Leadership and Oncology-Related Training) program. As part of the exchange  Valentina will be working in a lab at the Huntsman Cancer Center February-March 2025 in which she will learn skills critical for her PhD project here at OSU including working with melanocytes in an in vivo model to understand the role of Mc1r in pigment phenotypes.  The exchange is jointly funded by the OSU CCC and the HCI.
