REU Program Information

The goal of our REU program is to broaden participation in the sciences by providing research opportunities for students in groups that are traditionally underrepresented in science careers. This would include, but not be limited to, students who are members of an ethnic, racial, or other group that is underrepresented in the sciences, students with a disability, students who are first generation college students or from low-income families, and students attending institutions with limited independent research opportunities. If desired, please share how your participation in the program might contribute to these goals. OSU is committed to providing access and accommodations for all students. If you have questions regarding access or accommodations for a disability (in the laboratory, classroom, co-curricular programing or residential settings) related to the REU program or OSU’s campus please contact Student Life Disability Services in confidence at SLDS@osu.edu
