New SiGue Program to Aid Underrepresented Groups.

This is a new post-BS program for underrepresented groups . The program is part of a new NSF research grant obtained with Erich Grotewold. The goal of the program is to help training of underrepresented students just after their BS so they can move into graduate education.

Erich Grotewold, Professor of Molecular Genetics and Horticulture & Crop Science, and director of the Center for Applied Sciences (CAPS), is the Principal Investigator on a $4,234,908 National Science Foundation (NSF) project to address fundamentally important questions in plant research.
